The main sealing components of the EVSP set are engineered Garlock GRAPH-LOCK ® rings. Made from high purity diamond texturized graphite tape, these rings are produced in a patented "cup and cone" configuration.

This design permits selective component compression and controlled radial flow to ensure effective seals on both the I.D. and O.D. This is a unique characteristic that makes Style 9000 EVSP Simplified the premium valve sealing packing in the industry. 

The 9000 EVSP Simplified contains end rings made from Garlock Style #98, which function as wiper rings to restrict graphite particle transfer, to prevent extrusion and provide additional resiliency to the set. Specify Style G-700 for nuclear service.

Custom Design Capability

Our patented cup and cone design can be adapted to a variety of stuffing box depths. Customized designs of the 9000 EVSP Simplified Set have been successfully manufactured to provide sealability in valves as shallow as two ring cross-sections.
